Yeow Seng was established in 1956 as a trading house for premium Chinese seafood and delicacies at the origin of Singapore’s wholesale seafood trade. For close to three decades, until the mid-1990s, the Company’s operations were based at Ellenborough Market on the Singapore River, the historic riverside hub that served as the city’s principal centre for fresh fish and dried seafood, where its sourcing networks and grading expertise were first established.
耀成海产于1956年创立,是一家经营优质中华海味的贸易行,处于新加坡海味批发贸易的源头。近三十年间, 直至1990年代中期,公司的业务据点设于新加坡河畔的爱伦坡巴刹。 这座历史悠久的河岸市场,曾是全岛鲜鱼与海味贸易的主要中心, 公司也在此建立起采购网络与鉴货专业。
This period coincided with a defining phase in Singapore’s culinary development, as the Company supplied the premium delicacies that supported the growth of Singapore’s Chinese restaurant trade. In 1993, the business was formally incorporated as Yeow Seng (Seafood) Pte Ltd, marking its transition from a market-based trading operation into a structured corporate entity the foundation for the standards the Company maintains today.

The Company operates a fully vertically integrated supply chain from sourcing and in-house processing to cold-chain storage and distribution. Our Singapore processing facility is certified to ISO 22000 and SFA food safety standards, ensuring consistent quality and full traceability from raw material to finished product.
